First published in 1961, I, a Woman is the cult erotic novel by Agnethe Thomsen, writing under the pseudonym Siv Holm. A candid exploration of female sexuality, self-determination and the sexual liberation of the 1960s, it was adapted into the 1965 sexploitation film of the same name, which later inspired Andy Warhol’s experimental film I, a Man.
